Prints

In 2006, I received a scholarship to study printmaking at the Manhattan Graphics Center with Vijay Kumar. All of these prints were made during that 6 month period. To counterbalance the technical and structured process of printmaking, I wanted to use spontaneous and organic images on small plates to create an intimate, emotional response.

Recently, I made a series of monoprints. Monoprints are the most painterly type of printmaking and are more of an extension of my work on paper. These prints are very intuitive and give a compelling, immediate result.
